Clarage recently completed the performance, thrust and noise tests for the first
of 17 jet fans we are supplying to New Mech Companies for the MAC Tunnel 4-22 project
at the Minneapolis St. Paul Airport. Fan housing and impellers were manufactured
by ZVVZ our associates in the Czech Republic. Silencers were manufactured and assembled
at TCF in Aberdeen. Performance is 610 N in forward direction and 600 N in the reverse
direction.
HNTB in Seattle is the consultant on the project. Colin Macedo of HNTB had these
comments on the testing performed in Minneapolis:
"Thanks for being gracious hosts and for the prior planning that allowed the tests
to be completed as scheduled. Your test facility is quite state of the art and the
test fan appeared to be of good quality construction and comparatively quiet."
